Es ist bekannt, daß das Entfernen von in Fugen wucherndem Unkraut eine mühsa me, zeitaufwendige und im Bereich der Privathaushalte eine durch Blessuren ge kennzeichnete Arbeit darstellt. Der augenblickliche Stand der Technik sieht solche Arbeiten - unterstützt durch Motorkraft - nur in größerer Dimension vor, beispielsweise bei der Städtereinigung. Die dafür entwickelten Maschinen bringen aber nur einen wenig befriedigenden Nebeneffekt des Unkrautentfernens bei der Straßenreinigung. Privathaushalte haben bislang lediglich die Möglichkeit, auf das übliche Auskratzen des Unkrauts mit einem Kratzeisen oder Küchenmesser zurückzugreifen oder aber setzen Unkrautvernichtungsmittel ein.
