Abstract

A speedometer for roller skates, in particular in-line skates, is disclosed. The invention is based on the recognition that speed or kilometres cannot be measured in in-line skates as for example in bicycles. The features of the invention which are novel over the prior art result from that at least one measurement unit (4) is mounted on or integrated into the in-line skate (8) for each foot.
