Das Gerät ist Fig. 1 und 2 in Vorder- und in Seitenansicht zu sehen, in Fig. 3 in der Stellung, in welcher es der Benutzer einsetzt. Dieser faßt es am Handgriff 2 und setzt es an der Bodenentnahmestelle auf den Boden und rammt es mit dem Fuß auf dem Pedal 9 soweit in den Boden bis das Pedal auf dem Boden 13 aufsitzt. Durch die an Hand der Skala 5 vorbestimmte Eindringtiefe des Rohrschaftes in den Boden wird jeweils eine mit der Eindringtiefe korrespondierende Bodenmenge entnommen. Das Pedal 9 ist, wie in Fig. 1 zu sehen, unten an einem axial am Rohrschaft 1 verschiebbaren Schieberohr 6 befestigt. Oben ist das Schieberohr als ein durch den Griff 8 betätigbares Klemmgesperre 7 ausgebildet und durch dieses an dem Rohrschaft 1 feststellbar.
