Beschreibung;
des Eckkantenschutz - Profilbandes aus Kunststoff oder Gummi für Sockelleisten aus Formsperrholz oder Kunststoff.
Das Eckkantenschutz - Profilband hat die Aufgabe, an vorspringenden Ecken von Sockelleisten aus Formsperrholz oder Kunststoff die Eckkante gegen Beschädigung zu schützen und die Fuge zu verdecken. Bei zurückliegenden Ecken hat das Eckkantenschutz - Profilband die Fuge zu verdecken.
Das Eckkantenschutz - Profilband, wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt, wird aus elastischem Kunststoff oder aus Gummi hergestellt. Die Farbe passend oder im Kontrast zur jeweiligen Sockelleiste oder metallfarbig. Wesentliche Maße: a = 0,5 - 10,0 mm, b und c = 1,0 - 20,0 mm; Winkel^ richtet sich nach dem Winkel, in dem die Sockelleisten an den vorspringenden oder zurückliegenden Ecken zusammentreffen, im Normalfall 90 '. Die Zeichnung zeigt außer der Darstellung des Eckkantenschutz -'Profilbandes 2 Anwendungsbeispiele.
Das Eckkantenschutz - Profilband wird an vorspringenden und zurückliegenden Ecken von Sockelleisten zwischen die auf Gehrung geschnittenen Stoßflächen eingesetzt. Zuvor muß das Profilband auf die notwendige Länge gebracht, z.B. abgeschnitten werden. Der Schnittwinkel zur Längsachse des Profilbandes soll so sein, daß das Profilband in eingebautem Zustand auf dem Fußboden und an der Wand bündig anliegt.
Dieses Eckkantenschutz - Profilband wird verwendet bei Sockelleisten aus Formsperrholz oder Kunststoff in Wohn-, Büro-, Geschäfts-, Wirtschaftsräumen u. ä..
Die Vorteile dieses Eckkantenschutz - Profilbandes gegenüber den bisher als Eckkantenschutz verwendeten Eckstücke aus Holz sind im Wesentlichen folgende:
1. wesenlich geringere Herstellungskosten;
2. das Eckkantenschutz - Profilband paßt sich der Form der Sockelleiste weitgehend durch die Elastizität des Materials von selbst an;
3· die Höhe der Sockelleiste kann beliebig sein, da das Eckkantenschutz - Profilband als fortlaufendes Band hergestellt werden kann und dann auf die jeweils benötigte. Länge abgeschnitten wird;
4. die Gehrungsfuge wird überdeckt, dadurch werden evtl. vorhandene Ungenauigkeiten unsichtbar.

1. Eckkantenschutz - Profilband aus Kunststoff oder Gummi, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß 2 Nuten im rechten Winkel zueinander und mit geringstmöglichem Abstand voneinander verlaufen, in die die auf Gehrung geschnittenen Sockelleiste!! an vorspringenden oder zurückliegenden Ecken eingeschoben werden.
2. Eckkantenschutz - Profilband nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus einem weniger elastischen Kunststoff besteht, und schon bei der Herstellung zu einer bestimmten Sockelleiste passend gekrümmt wird.
