Abstract

The strap is made in one or more leather parts or other flexible material and has fastening holes (3a-d) for mounting on an instrument. It has an elongated flat elliptical or drop ring shape and a head hole area (4) for passing through the head. The hole is formed by removing material along the axis of symmetry of the strap and the fixing holes may be reinforced flat with suitable material. When the strap is made of three parts, the head hole area is arranged at the centre piece and the fastening areas may each be made of two roughly identical parts. The axis of symmetry of the strap may describe a curve whereby one shoulder side of the strap may be shorter than the other.

Claims

1.
