Abstract

A process for producing thermoplastic sandwich type mouldings, with a fibre reinforced cover layer, comprises warming the sandwich and placing it in a stamping press. The press has upper and lower tools and is used to form the sandwich while maintaining upper and lower cover layer spacings. Fold formation is pref. minimised or prevented completely.

Description
