Abstract

The rescue device is mounted on the outside of a building above a window or specially adapted opening to swivel down like an awning. The device is fitted with one or more abseil devices (2) regulated by centrifugal force so that people can drop down with constant abseil speed of max. 2.0 m/sec without any foreign energy. Abseiling is safe and easy on a direct path from top to bottom without diversions. A fold-out chute (8) as safety slide can be fixed on the window lintel. Any number of abseil processes can be carried out. Emergency rescue straps can be stored in the rooms.

Description

The invention relates to a rescue device ( 1 ) for lowering people and loads from tall structures according to claim 1, if the normal way over stairs or elevators is blocked in an emergency.

In contrast to a known rescue device (DE 36 10 215), the assembly is not inside the room but can be swiveled ( Fig. 1 and 2) or fixed ( Fig. 3) on the outside of the construction work above a window depending on the nature of the building. The rescue rope runs straight from top to bottom and not the more complex and difficult way out of a room via pulleys.

The present invention also differs from the aforementioned device in that independently From the room occupancy with one device as many Ab rope operations in automatic alternating operation are possible and not on the number of rescue devices installed depend on.

The rescue task is solved in that in an emergency the rescuing person unlocks the rescue device by pulling the handle ( 3 ) after opening the window, so that it is 50 to 60 cm from the outer wall with the help of movably mounted struts and brackets ( Fig. 2 , 6 and 7) pivots. At the same time, the lifeline with hooks is released through the self-opening bottom plate. The rescue rope ( 5 ) is set so that there is a shorter piece of rope with a hook at window height and a longer section with a hook falls down. The person who saves puts on a rescue belt deposited in the room and hooks the belt into the rope hook. The person glides down a slide ( 8 ) unfolded on the windowsill. With a sink rate of max. The person safely reaches the ground at 2.0 m / sec. Now another person can hook into the other rope end, which is now at window height, and lower it down actively (alternating operation).
