Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren dient der Imprägnierung von Cellulosepapieren bzw. Formkörpern aus Cellulosepapieren durch Tauchtränkung.The process according to the invention serves to impregnate cellulose papers or shaped bodies of cellulose papers by immersion impregnation.

Die Imprägnierung von Papier erfolgt bei hydrophilen Wirkstoffen mittels wäßriger Lösungen bzw. Suspensionen. Dabei wird bei der Oberflächenimprägnierung das Imprägniermittel auf die Oberfläche aufgebracht und dringt von dort ins Material ein. In der Regel wird das Material vollständig vom Imprägniermittel durchtränkt. Die Imprägnierung liegt damit homogen verteilt vor. Die Papierbahn wird im allgemeinen kontinuierlich durch ein Tauchbad mit Imprägnierlösung geführt und nach Abquetschen oder Abstreichen überschüssigen Imprägniermittels in Walzen- oder Kanaltrocknern getrocknet. Die Minderung der Reißkraft und die Quellung des Materials, insbesondere quer zur Bahnrichtung der Papiere, haben zur Folge, dass manche Papiere einer Tauchimprägnierung nicht standhalten. Geeignete Naßfestmittel bzw. Leimung der Papiere sollen die Eigenschaften so verbessern, dass nachfolgende Tränkungen möglich sind. Durch solche chemischen Hilfsmittel, die über den Stoff ins Papier eingebracht werden, kommt es oft zu negativen Beeinträchtigungen der Saughöhe und der Oberflächensaugfähigkeit (Cobb-Test), wodurch auch das Aufnahmevermögen für Imprägniermittel leidet.For molded articles made of paper, the impregnation is usually discontinuous by immersion impregnation.
