Bei dem im Bergbau Anwendung findenden Spülversatzverfahren stößt das oft notwendige Umschalten der Verteilungsrohre bisher auf große Schwierigkeiten; die gegenwärtig angewendeten Umschaltvorrichtungen sind einerseits nur mit großem Zeitverlust zu betätigen, andererseits geben sie, da sie stets freie Räume bieten, in denen sich die schlammigen oder sandigen und steinigen Spülmassen festsetzen können, Veranlassung zu Verstopfungen.
