Bei den bekannten Sperrsystemen unterscheidet man zwei Arten, einmal Achsen mit Sperrdifferentialen, die einen bestimmten eingestellten Sperrwert haben, zum anderen Achse'n mit unter Last schaltbaren hydraulischen Differentialsperren. Im ersten Fall sind die Sperren in den Achsen eingebaut und wirken bei Drehmomentunterschieden an einer Achse selbsttätig. Vorzugsweise wird jedoch im Fahrerhaus noch eine zusätzliche Handbetätigung für den Endschalter angebracht, so daß der Fahrer die Möglichkeit hat, auch bei Kurvenfahrten nötigenfalls die Sperre zu betätigen, so bei Kurvenfahrten auf ungünstigen Bodenverhältnissen. Durch diese Konstruktion ist somit eine sinnvolle Betätigung der Sperre ermöglicht worden. Beispielsweise kann beim Laden und Schürfen die Maschine mit gesperrten Achsen arbeiten und die Vorschubkraft optimal auf den Boden bringen, während andererseits bei Kurvenfahrt die Differentiale der Achsen zur Wirkung- kommen. Ferner bietet die Bauweise den Vorteil, daß die Sperre selten unter Last geschaltet wird, wodurch eine höhere Lebensdauer gewährleistet ist. Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellt.
