Abstract

The table may have three or four tubular legs (7). Each leg consists of an upper and lower tube portion (8) separated by a connecting piece (9) connected to lugs supporting the flat top (4) of the table. Zwi schen den Rohrabschnitten 8 ist ein Verbindungsteil 9 eingesetzt. Das Verbindungsteil 9 besitzt einen mittleren Abschnitt 10, dessen Außenkontur der im Querschnitt betrach teten Außenkontur der Rohrabschnitte 8 entspricht. An den mittleren Abschnitt 10 schließen sich spiegelbildlich zwei äußere Abschnitte 11 an, deren Außenkontur der Innenkontur der Rohrabschnitte 8 entspricht. Die äußeren Abschnitte 11 sind in die Rohrabschnitte 8 formschlüssig eingefügt. Die Rohrabschnitte 8 sind durch den mittle ren Abschnitt 10 des Verbindungsteiles 9 getrennt. Das Verbindungsteil 9 weist mittig einen vertikalen Durchbruch 12 auf. Das obere und das untere Ende des Fußes 7 wer den durch je ein Abschlußstück 13 gebildet. Jedes Abschlußstück 13 ist mit einem Teil seines Volumens in ein Rohrstück 8 formschlüssig eingefügt, während der andere Teil des Volumens eines jeden Abschlußstückes 13 über den jeweiligen Rohrabschnitt 8 hinausragt. Das oben angeordnete Abschlußstück 13 bildet eine Abdeckung, während das unten befindliche Abschlußstück 13 die Auflage für den Fuß bildet. Wie das Ver bindungsteil 9, so besitzen auch die Abschlußstücke 13 mittig einen vertikalen Durch bruch 12, so daß die Abschlußstücke 13, durch die Rohrabschnitte 8 und durch das Verbindungsteil 9 ein Gewindestab 14 hindurchführbar ist, an dessen Enden je eine Mutter 15 aufgeschraubt ist, so daß die Abschlußstücke 13, die Rohrabschnitte 8 sowie das Verbindungsteil 9, einen Fuß 7 bildend, gegeneinander verspannt sind. Der oben angeordnete Rohrabschnitt 8 ist in bekannter Weise so gestaltet, daß an ihm eine der Wände 5 einer Umrandung 6 befestigbar ist. Auch ist in Anlehnung an Fig. 2 eine Abstellfläche 4 vorgesehen, die von einer Umrandung 6 begrenzt ist. Im unteren Bereich ist eine weitere Abstellfläche 4, jedoch ohne Umrandung 6 vorgesehen. Zwei der Rohrabschnitte 8 sind mit Öffnungen oder bekannten Mitteln ausgestattet, die eine Anbindung des Fußes 7, und damit des Tisches 1, an einen weiteren Tisch 1 oder wie im Beispiel angedeutet, an einen weiteren Ein richtungsgegenstand 17, z. B. ein Regal, ermöglicht. Im Beispiel sind als Mittel zwei Zwischenstücke 16 vorgesehen, die sowohl mit den beiden ausgewählten Rohrab schnitten 8, als auch mit dem Einrichtungsgegenstand 17 lösbar verbunden sind. Das Beispiel soll verdeutlichen, daß die neuheitsgemäßen Tische 1 unterschiedlichst ge staltbar sind. Je nach Anzahl der Rohrabschnitte 8 lassen sich verschiedenste Füße 7 herstellen, die somit auch unterschiedliche Tische 1 entstehen lassen. Jeder oder auch nur ein Rohrabschnitt 8 kann mit Mitteln, z. B. mit einem Zwischenstück 16 versehen werden, die eine Anbindung an einen oder mehrere andere Einrichtungsgegenstände 17 erlauben. Gleiches gilt auch für das wenigstens eine Verbindungsteil 9. Natürlich sind bei den beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispielen unterschiedlich lange Gewindestäbe 14 erforderlich. Da die Gewindestäbe 14 jedoch einfach von längeren Gewindestangen oder von Rundstangen abgeschnitten werden, bleiben die Herstellkosten für unter schiedlich lange Gewindestäbe 14 niedrig. Wie bereits erwähnt, können die Abschluß stücke 13 mit einem zentral angeordneten, vertikal verlaufenden Innengewinde zum Aufschrauben auf den Gewindestab 14 ausgestattet sein, um zusätzlich Schraubmittel in Form von Muttern 15 einzusparen. Er ist von oben her durch den Durch bruch 12 des oberen Abschlußstückes 13 hindurchgeführt und stützt sich mit seinem Kopf am oberen Abschlußstück 13 ab, wobei zwischen dem Kopf und dem oberen Ab schlußstück 13 eine Scheibe eingefügt sein kann. Wie in Fig. 5 näher beschrieben, ist es auch bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel zweckmäßig, das obere Abschlußstück 13 durch eine Abschlußkappe 20 abzudecken. Unabhängig davon, ob pro Fuß 7 eine Ab schlußkappe 20 vorgesehen ist oder nicht, weist bei allen Ausführungsbeispielen jeder Fuß 7 wenigstens zwei Rohrabschnitte 8 auf, die durch einen innerhalb der Rohrab schnitte 8 befindlichen Gewindestab 14 verschraubt sind. Um dies zu ermöglichen, ist wenigstens ein Verbindungsteil 9 vorgesehen, das zumindest mit einem der beiden Ab schlußstücke 13 zum Aneinanderfügen der Rohrabschnitte 8 und zur Aufnahme und Verschrauben des Gewindestabes 14 bestimmt ist. Dabei ist anzumerken, daß der Ge windestab 14 auch, von unten durch das untere Abschlußstück 13 hindurchgeführt, nach oben gerichtet sein kann, um mit einem Verbindungsteil 9 verschraubt zu sein, das nunmehr mit dem oberen Rohrabschnitt 8 ortsfest verbunden ist. Aus der Zeichnung ist ersichtlich, daß zwi schen dem Rohrabschnitt 8 und einer Strebe 3 lediglich zwei punkt- bzw. zwei kleine linienförmige Auflageflächen 19 gebildet sind, die für das vorab genannte Schweißver fahren (Punktschweißung) als ideal betrachtet werden kann.
