Claims (1)

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE. KLASSE 29: Gespinnstfasern.CLASS 29: Staple fibers. First, asbestos threads (wire, spun) with a metal insert or with a Insert made of other spinnable materials than thread, hemp, flax, silk, wool, cotton, Jute, hair and the like made by metal wire or fiber yarn are spun over with asbestos fibers in such a way that the interlining of all of them Pages evenly enclosed. Then these asbestos-coated threads can be used any type of woven, knitted, braided, knitted, woven or crocheted fabric and these properties, in addition to greater resistance, also have these properties like the fabric made of pure asbestos. So z. The use of metal, iron, steel, copper, brass, platinum and also zinc wire, galvanized or not galvanized, as an insert of the threads mentioned or the insert of others of the above spinnable fabrics is determined by the purpose for which the fabric is made should serve. So z. B. metal inserts are used for fire-resistant fabrics; for filtration purposes such deposits are chosen which are not attacked by the liquid to be filtered will; Inserts made from poor heat conductors are used as thermal insulation materials. For the production of threads, cords, cords, ropes, ropes, the type of insert is used also determined by the purpose, e.g. B. for supplements to flange, steam cylinder • and Pipe seals, as well as for stuffing boxes and also for electricity lines are preferred Metals chosen. Asbestos threads with spinnable material as an insert are particularly flexible and very easy to weave. Asbestos threads produced in the manner indicated can also be used to produce a species Embroidery, as well as being used to weave either the warp or the warp from such threads, and in the former the class, in the latter the chain from others Materials, not only spinnable, but also, for example, wood, whalebone, Rofshaar, Rohr, etc. The embroidery can be done by means of such asbestos threads on canevas Metal wire or other fabric can be made on one or both sides of the same. Derartig hergestellte Gewebe und Stoffe eignen sich vorzüglich zu Theatervorhängen, Decorationen, Kleidungen, Feuergittern, Rettungsschläuchen , Rettungskörben, zu Säcken für Kriegsbedarf, zu ebensolchen Decken, zu Tüchern und Säcken für Prefsfilter u. s. w.Fabrics and fabrics produced in this way are ideal for theater curtains, decorations, Clothing, fire grids, rescue hoses, rescue baskets, to bags for War supplies, blankets of the same kind, cloths and sacks for prefilters and so on. The production and use of threads, which consist of a metallic insert (wire) or other interlinings made of spinnable materials, such as hemp, flax, wool, cotton, silk, Jute, hair and the like, and a cover made of asbestos fibers, to all kinds of fabrics, in connection with other fabrics or without them, for cords, cords, ropes, Thawing, as well as a kind of embroidery, as described.
