Beschreibun des Bandmaß-Ilaltestabes
Ein Ilolzstab, 90 cm lang,-Querschnitt 13 x 17 mm, mit einer
12 cm langen klapDbaren Spitze, die mit Stahlband geschützt
und mit einem Schnaupschluß versehen ist. In den Schlitz wird
das Bandmaß am Nullpunkt eingeklemmt. Auf der Rückseite des
Sta-
bes befindet sich eine Haltevorrichtung für das überstehende
nde des Bandmaßes, die sich auf verschiedene Länsen einstellen
läßt.
Der Bandmaßaltesjab dient einer praktischen Erleichterung
beim'Messen des WeitsDrunges.

Der 'itsDrun. a ; wird gemessen vom letzten Eindruck des Fußes
oder
eines anderen Körperteiles, der dem Absprungbalken an nächsten

durchgeführt werden müssen, wurden zeitlich meist noch dadurch
verlängert, daß ein jlin-und Herziehen erforderlich wurde,
bis
der Nullpunkt richtig am Stab las. Oft genug wurde allch das
Band-
maß in die Vertiefung des Niedersprungs hineingedrückt. Dadurch
ergaben sich ungenaue Resultate. Durch das dauernde Anfassen
des
Bandmaßes an der Nullmarke und durch die häufige Berührung
mit
der Erde trat schon nach kurzer Benutzungszeit eine Beschadi-
gung des Bandmaßes ein.
