Einebevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist dabei dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sohle mit de Verlängerung aus einem einheitlichen Material, z. B. einer Leder-oder Kunststoffplatte, ausgeschnitten oder ausgestanzt und diese Verlängerung durch materialabtragende Bearbeitung, z. B. Abfräsen, in ihrer Stärke auf der nach Montage am Schuh die Innenseite bildende Seite reduziert und dadurch abbiegbar gestaltet ist. Die reduzierte Stärke der Verlängerung ist an die größere Stärke der Sohle dabei zweckmäßig über ein im Schnitt bogenförmiges Übergangsstück von nur einigen Millimetern Erstreckung angeschlossen und dadurch praktisch rechtwinklig abwinkelbar. Hierdurch entsteht die erforderliche Stützwirkung und mit dem aufgesetzten Absatz eine scharfe rückwärtige Kante.
