In den letzten Jahrzehnten sind auf dem Gebiet der Gestaltung von Zeiohenanlagen große Fortschritte erzielt worden. Demgegenüber hat aber die Gestaltung des Arbeitsplatzes von Konstrukteuren und Technikern in Zeichenräumen mit der zunehmenden Industrialisierung nicht Schritt gehalten. Obwohl es allgemein bekannt ist, daß am Anfang aller technischen Fortentwicklung die konstruktive Tätigkeit steht, und es daher wesentlich darauf ankommt, letztere durch Schaffung zweckmäßig ausgebildeter, rationellere Arbeitemethoden ermöglichender Arbeits-und Zeichenplätze zu fördern, hat man diesen Fragen bisher offenbar nicht die notwendige Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet.
