Erfindungsgemäß besteht die Sicherheitseinrichtung aus einer drehbaren, mit Öffnungen für die Steckerstifte versehenen Kulissenscheibe. Durch Verdrehen des Steckers in der einen oder anderen Richtung bis zu einem Anschlag werden die Kontaktführungen zum Einstecken derselben freigegeben und der Stromkreis durch Einschieben der Kontaktstifte geschlossen. Beim Herausziehen des Steckers springt die Kulissenscheibe durch Federkraft in ihre Ursprungslage zurück. Die Erfindung wird anhand des in der Zeichnung dargestellten Aus- CD führungsbeispieles für die bekannten Schukostecker beschrieben.
