Glutstopper für Zigaretten und Zigarren
Der Glutstopper hat den Zweck, eine brennende Zigarette
ohne jede Brandgefahr schnell und sicher abzulegen unter
gleichzeitiger Löschung der Glut. Die Löschung der Glut geschieht innerhalb von
5 Sekunden. Die Zigarette kann später ohne Aromaverlust wieder angezündet und weitergeraucht

The purpose of the ember stopper is to keep a lit cigarette
without any risk of fire to put it down quickly and safely under
simultaneous extinguishing of the embers. The embers are extinguished within 5 seconds. The cigarette can later be lit again and continued to smoke without losing its aroma.
Die allgemein übliche Glutlöschung ist nur umständlich von Hand durchzuführen,

Die Zigarettenablage in einem Ascher bedingt ein Weiterglimmen bis

Der Glutstopper (siehe Mustereinsendung vom 25.5.1961) besteht aus
einer zylindrischen schräggestellten metallführung, die auf einer ca. 2,5 cm2 großen
Kunststoffplatte durch ein Klebemittel befestigt ist. Die Netallführung, welche
außen aus Kunststoff und innen aus Stanniol besteht,
nat einen Innendurchmesser, der etwas größer ist, als die
Zigarette bezw. Zigarre dick ist, so daß sich diese leicht einführen läßt. Die Länge
der hetallführung beträgt ca. 20 mm ; bei einem Glutstopper für Zigarren ist sie
