Allerdings wird zwar auch bei den bekannten Türschlössern, deren Schließfalle durch eine Feder ständig nach außen gedrückt wird, das Nichtgeschlossensein der Tür von selbst angezeigt, da die nichtgeschlossene Tür sich mit der Falle an den Türrahmen legt; aber der Umstand, daß dann die Tür angelehnt steht, schließt den Irrtum, die Tür sei geschlossen, nicht aus, weil er dem Auge zu wenig auffällt. Durch den Einbau des Erfindungsgegenstandes wird indessen die Tür selbsttätig so weit offen gehalten, daß die Offenstellung ohne weiteres wahrnehmbar ist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß der Schloßriegel mit einer aus der dem Schloß entgegengesetzten Türkante herausragenden stangenartigen Fortsetzung versehen wird, die sich gegen eine im anliegenden Tür-, pfosten eingelassene Feder legt. Letztere bringt bei völlig geschlossener Tür den Riegel in die Schließplatte am Türrahmen und drückt bei nicht völlig geschlossener Tür letztere vom Türrahmen ab..
