Im gleichen Arbeitsgang folgt dann durch direkte Einwirkung eines elektrisch erwärmten Glühdrahtes die Abschmelzung bzw. das Auseinandertrennen der Folien. Infolge der Oberflächenspannung ziehen sich die abgeschnittenen Kanten in Sichtung Klemmleisten zurück. Durch die untere, zwischen den Klemmleisten liegende Federleiste werden dann die Schweißnähten nach oben gedrückt.
