    Bei Sippenbrüchen oder-Preilungen wurde bisher gewöhnlich, ein Hebe—oder Handtuehverband um die Brust -gelegt..' Diese Methode hat aber den Facht eil, daß der -ilebeverband schlecht s.uf der Haut vertragen wird, das Handtuch sich süsa&renrollt und ruscht. Beide Verbandsarten sind keineswegs als Spannungsträger geeignet, um den Brustkorb bei der ■ - Atmung ruhig au stellen. Ein echter Spannungsträger muß aus einem festeren Material sein, das nur wenig elastisch ist, und den starken Ausdehnungsdruck des Brustkorbs bei der Ein- ■■ atmung sicher auffängt. V ■■'" V : V / ; / Der vorgeschlagene Brustkorbgürtel besteht-aus einem" wenig elastischen und festen Material, z. B. aus Leder oder lederähnlichen Kunststoff. Wegen der erforderlichen Breite des Brustkorbgürtels von ca.. 12 cm hat er 2 Schnallen, die eine. Terstellbarkeit für j eden Brustumfang erlauben. \
