Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Metallen, Metalloiden oder Legierungen mittels Aluminiums, darauf beruhend, daß diejenigen Elemente, welche nach dem Aluminiumthermitverfahren von Goldschmidt nicht in einheitlicher regulinischer Form darzustellen sind, z. B. Beryllium, Bor, Cer, Silicium, Titan, Thorium u. a. (vergl. Kraf ft, Anorganische Chemie, 4. Als Versuchsbeispiel sei die Darstellung des Bors beschrieben.
