Vorrichtung zum Auspressen von Gemüse oder Gewürzpflanzen, z. B. Knoblauch o. dgl. Die Neuerung betrifft eine insbesondere für Haushalt- (c----- zwecke zu verwendende Vorrichtung zum Auspressen von Gemüse oder Gewürzpflanzen, z. B. Knoblauch o. dgl., bei der das Gut in einem zylinderartigen Behälter mit siebartig durchlöchertem Boden mit Hilfe eines von Hand zu betätigenden, im Behälter auf und ab beweglich geführten Stempels ausgepreßt wird. Beim Auspressen des im Behälter vorhandenen Gutes fließt der flüssige Teil durch die Bohrungen im Behälterboden nach unten ab, während der ausgelaugte feste Teil im Behälter verbleibt. Bei den bekannten Vorrichtungen dieser Art wird der Zylinder mit dem mit ihm aus einem Stück bestehenden Boden durch Gießen hergestellt. Aus gießereitechnischen Gründen ist es hierbei nicht möglich, die Zylinderböden dünn zu halten, diese besitzen vielmehr eine verhältnismäßig große Wandstärke, so daß auch die durchgehenden Bohrungen ziemlich lang sind. Hieraus ergibt sich u. a. der Nachteil, daß die Reinigung des Zylinderbodens, insbesondere dann, wenn sich von der ablaufenden Flüssigkeit mitgenommene Teilchen in den Bohrungen festsetzen, schwierig ist, so daß man in der Regel gezwungen ist, durch die einzelnen Bohrungen hindurchzufahren, damit diese von den dort haftenden Teilchen gesäubert werden. Man muß deshalb auch auf besondere Bürsten zurückgreifen, und der ganze Vorgang ist verhältnismäßig umständlich.
