Aüsführungform besteht dariE daß dr Hanptteil des Haarreifens
oderStirnbandes ie aa Düster gezeigte ans eiBeva mit einem
biegsamenKunststoff ummantelten Band aus Faserstoffäden gebil-
det ist. Dieses Band kann gewebt sein, ist jedoch vorzugsweise
aus Gründen der wirtschaftlicheren Herstellung geflochten,
d. h.
alssogenannteR Litzengeflecht ausgebildet. das zweckmäßig durch

Gegenüber bekannten gleichartiges Barreifea. oder irsbändern

zeichnet sich der Erfindungsgegenstand in erster Linie dadurch
aus daß sein Hauptteil wegen seiner glatten Kunststefioberflä-
chen nicht so leicht verschEütt umd femer gegen Sehweiß un-
empfindlich ist. Der Haarreifen wird deshalb nicht so leicht unansehnlich
wie die bekannten gleichartigen Haarreifen, so daß er eine große Haltbarkeit und
lange Lebensdauer besitzt. Der die Enden des Hauptteiles verbindende Gummizug kann
in einfacher Weise dadurch befestigt werden, daß seine Enden von außen nach innen
durch kleine Löcher an den Enden des Hauptteiles hindurohgesteckt und je mit einem
Knoten versehen werden. I@r Kunststoffmantel verhindert ein Ausweiten der
Durchstecklöcher, so daß ein Hindurchschlüpfen der Knoten durch die Löcher nicht
vorkommen kann. was gleichfalls zur Erhöhung der Haltbarkeit und Lebens-
dauer des Haarreifens beiträgt in wesentlicher Vorteil besteht
auch darin. daß die Schnittkanten an den Enden des Haupt. teiles
durch den Kunststoffmantel gegen Ausfransen gesichert sind. Es ist daher nicht notwendig,
die Schnittkanten zu vernähen oder zu säumen, wodurch die Herstellung vereinfacht

hindurch in unmittelbarer Werkstoffverbindung stehen. Dadurch wird ein Ablösen der
Kunststoffschichten von der Fasserstoffeinlage bzw.
dem Faserstoffband wirksam verhindert, was für die Haltbarkeit
und Lebensdauer des Haarreifens gleichfalls von wesentlicher
Bedeutung ist. Die Porôsität des Faserstoffbandes ermöglicht
schließlich, die Befestigungslöcher... für die Gummikordel
bei
den Poren also so anzubringen, daß dabei keine Beschädigung
der
Einlage bzw. des Faserstoffbandee stattfindet.
Die glänzende Oberfläche des Kunsistoffbandes bzw-Kunststoff-
mantels des Faserstoffbandes ergibt schließlieh eine erhöhte
Sohmuckwirkungaes Haarreifena. Diese Wirkung kann noch dadurch
gesteigert werden, daß daa Kunststoffband bzw. der Kunststoff-
mantelfarblos und glasklar ist. so daß die Faserstoffinlage
durch den Kunststoff hindurch giethar ist. Dabei kann die Fa-
serstoffeinlage bzw. das kunetetoffnmmantelte Band durch Ver-
wendungverschiedenfarbiger Web-oder Flehtfäden farbig gema-
start sein, wie dies am beiliegenden Modell gezelgt ist.
Natürlich beschränkt sich die Erfindung nicht auf dag durch
das Muster veranschaaliehte Beispiel, vielmehr sind mancherlei
Abänderungen desselben sowie andere sfuhrBformen moiek.
So könnte die Faserstofealage dea Haeptteiles auch von einem
