Spritawaeserdihte Langfeldleuchten werden meist mit einer liohtdurch-
lässigen, abnehmbaren Abdeckplatte die spritswaaserdicht angebracht
sein muss, versehen. Die Dichtung zwischen der Abdeckplatte
und dem
Halter bietet einige Schwierigkeit, Häufìger. besonders naeh
einigen
Jahren, erfüllt die Dichtung, da sie meist mittels Saften,
Schrauben,
Klebstoff oder dgl. befestigt Ist) njoht mehr ihren Zweckg
so dasa
Staut und Spritzwasser in die Leuchte eindringen kann.
Diesen Nachteil zu beseitigen ist der Zweck der nachstehend
beschrie-
benen geuerunzi die im wesentlichen darin besteht dass ein
gesehlos-
toner Diohtungerahraen aus geeignetem Werkstoff eine Nut zur
Aufnahme
der liohtdurohlässisen Abdeckplatte und eine Aussparung hat,

Die Abdeokung besteht aus einer lichtdurchlässigen Abdeckplatte (1),
aus Glas, Kunststoff oder dgl. ; aus dem geschlossenen D1ohtungsrah-
men (2), aus Gummi oder dgl. und aus dem Halter (3), aus Metall, Preßstoff oder
dgl. Der Dichtungsrahmen (2) hat eine Nute (6) zur Aufnahme der Abdeckplatte (1)
und eine Aussparung (5). Der Halter (3) hat auf der Querseite der Leuchte einen
winkelförmigen und auf der
Längsseite einen "formigen Querschnitt mit einem kurzen Schenkel
(4)
und ist vorteilhaft durch eine Leiste (9) verstärkt. Die Breite
der
Aussparung (5) des Dichtungarahmens ist gleich der Hohe des
Schenkels
und die Höhe ist größer als die Wandstärke des Schenkels (4).

Dichtungsrahmen (2) wird um die Abdeckplatte (1) geleg, so dass diese in der Nute
(6) ruht. dann werden diese beiden Teile in den Halter gequetscht, so dass der Schenkel
