Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf Blenden für Gardinenleisten, insbe sondere für Gardinenleisten mit Rundbögen und besteht darin, daß die durchgehende Blende unterbrochen wird. Es sind bereits Gardinenleisten bekannt, bei denen die Blende entweder aus Metall, Plastik oder aus fourniertem Holz gefertigt werden. Diese Blenden haben folgende Nachteile : Die Anpassungsmöglichkeit von Plastik-und Metallblenden an die moderne Raumgestaltung ist sehr beschränkt. Fournierte Holzblenden wiederum setzen eine gleichmäßige Holzmaserung und einwandfreie, daher teuere Furniere voraus. Die Blenden werden in Standardmäßige hergestellt und dann zu jeweiligen Längen zugeschnitten, wobei ein grosser Verschnitt entsteht. Dieselben werden ferner für jede Gardinenleistenlänge einzeln gebogen angefertigt, wobei dieses Verfahren zu umständlich und kostspielig ist. Diese Blenden werden dann stets nur in einer Richtung längs oder quer maseriert verwendet. Die bisher in einer Holzart fournierten Blenden passen nicht mehr zur modernen Raumgestaltung.
