In den letzten fahren drängt sich in der Grünlandwirtsohatt

terdaeh'-yuttertrocknung in den Vordergrund. Dies Bedingt,
daß
das Erntegut in mehr oder nur weniger welkem, abgetrocknetem
b. zu w,
halbdürrem Zustand eingefahren wird. In diesem Zustand sind
die
Erntegütermitden bisher gebräuchlichen Gabeln nur mit großer
Mühe anzustechen, um die Erntegüter auf die tagen zu laden
oder
von tien Uagen zu entladen. Der Grund des schweren Ansteohens
liegt
darin daß sich z. B « das welke Gras auf den Gabelspitzen aufkeilt
oder autkleißmt, da äas Erntegut in diesem feuchten Zustand
sich
filzartig und träge verhält. Dieser filzartige und träge Zustand
ist im naßgrünen oder dürren Zustand nicht vorhanden wodurch
es
sich it den bisher bekannten Spitzgabelzinken verhältnisaäßig
gut anstechen liest
Um bei welken JSrntegu. tern ein gleichfalls leiohtes Ansteohen
ohne großen Kraftaufwand zu erreichen ; haben wir die Zinkenspitzen
mit einer messerähnliohen Schneide versehen) sodaß der nachfolgende
Zinken in einem freigesohnittenen Kanal in das Erntegut eindrin-
gen kann. Duroh den freigesohnittenen Kanal ist das Aufteilen
oder
Aufkleben des Srntegutes auf die Gabelzinken weitgehenst her
abgesetzt. Die Sohneide kann waagrecht wie senkrecht !, Lanzen-
förmig oder im winkel, spitz oder stumpfwinklig zum Gabelzinken
verlaufen, oder entlang das Gabelzinken auf diesen aufgeschliffen
sein. Die Schneide kann Messerglatt, wellen oder Zahnformig
ge-
schliffen sein « Die Gleitwirkung der Zinken wird erhöht, wenn
die
