Diesem 6-er Erfindung gemäß durch eine
ScKùtzhülle abgeholfen werden, die das äußere ßnde des aufge-
spulten Bandes umibt, und die aus eiBem farbuBdurchlässigen
Stoff, vorzugsweise aus Zellhaut, Waehspßpier o. dgl. besteht.
Eine solche HSlle gestattet ein bequemes Erfassen des BäDdeades
ohne Gefahr eiDer'BeSc1hmutzuD3 der U1nger und bietet im übrigen
die vorteilhafte U6glichkeit zur Aubringumg von Werbeclrucken
dgl.
Um beim Einsetzen der Spule in die Maschine jede
Gefahr einer Berührung mit der Farbe des Bandes auszuschließen,
wird die Schutzhülle zweckmäßig so lang bemessen, daß sie sich
über mehr als einen Spulenumfang, also etwa. den doppelten
Umfang erstreckt.
In Gegensatz zu Schreibmaschinenbãndern, deren Enden
ungefärbt geblieben sind zumal sie Dicht benutzt werden kDBOBs
ist es durchaus erwünscht, die Bandenden-schon wegen der
vesentlich gpSSeren Bandbreite-aicht uabenutzt zu lasse*
Diesem Bestreben wird man nach der Erfindung voll gerecht,
wenn die Schutzhûlle so ausgebildet wil'd, daß sie nach Ertitl-
lustg ihrer Aufgabe wiener-entfernt und damit das bisher abge-
deckte Ende freigelegt werden kann.
Die Zeichsung zeigt schaubildlieh ein Ausführungs-
beispiel der Erfindung.
Das etwa haüdbrei ta Farbband 1 ist auf eine Hülse a
aufgespult und am Quarrande des äußeren Sndes von einer Lasche
3 eingefaßt, die sus hluß t aet Masehtme dient. Von dieser
Lasche erstreckt sich über das Band 1 eine Schutzhülle 4 aus
Zelthaut, und zwar über aiBe LäBge, di etwa gleich dem doppel-
ten Spulenumfang ist. Die Zallhaut bildet eine Art Schlauch-
hülle und kaaN leicht voa dem BDde eBtferBt werden.
Das Einlegen das Bandes ia die Adressiermaschine
geht wie üblich vor sich, nur mit dem Unterschiede, daß sowohl
beim Einsetzen der Spule selbst als aucd beim Ansohließen des
äußeren Bandendes eine VeruareiDigUDg der Finger mit Farbe
nicht zu befürchten ist. Von den gebrauchsfertig eingelegten
Bande 1 kann die Schlauchtülle 4 mühelos entfernt werden, wozu
zB. die Hlle nur längs ihres oberen Hundes aufgetreBBt zu
werden braucht, um anschließend abgezogen zu werden.
Wie erwähnt, ist die dargestellte Ausführung nur
eise beispielsweise Verwirklichung der Sfindung und diese
nicht hierauf beschränkt, vielmehr sind noah mancherlei andere
Austührungen mglich so zB< der Srstz der Zellhaut durch
