öffner nach dem Einkochen zu öffnen sind. Besonders schwierig
ist der Rillenglasdeckel zu offnenda bedm Einkochen sich der
Rillenglasdeekel fest in den Gummiring einpresst. Die taanigfaahen
Klagen der Hausfrauen darüber sind bekannt, da die meisten
Glas-
öffner hierbei versagen. In den häufigsten Fallen werden beim
Ver-

Mein Neuerung soll diesem Uebelstand abhelfen mid zwar dadurch,
indem der Glasdeckel in der Mitte mit einem kleinen runden
Loch
(Luftloch) veraehen wird. Abbildung A. Vor dem Einkochen wird
nun
auf das Luftloch ein kleines Guiplkttehe B, gelegt, welches
Tor-
teilhaft einseitig gummiert sein kann. Dareh das Gummiplättchen
wird das Luftloch abgeschlossen. Abbildung 0.
Der KonserTenglasdeckel wird-mm wie üblich, auf das Konserven-
glas gelegtmit dem üblichen Spannbügel versehen und der Ein-
kechßrezesa kann beginnen.
Soll das Konservenglas wieder geöffnet werden, dann zieht man
den
Bügel ab und entfernt durch leichtes Hechziehen das festsitzende
Gatmniplattchen. In diesem Moment zieht Luft in das Glas und
der
Deckel l&sst sich spielend leicht. abheben. Praktische
Versuche
dieser Art wurden seit ahren durchgeführt und haben die Zweck-
mässigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit dieser Neuerung bestätigt.
