Abstract
Eine Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung umfassend:a. bis zu etwa 80 Vol.-% einer Polymerdispersion;b. etwa 20 Vol.-% bis etwa 65 Vol.-% eines Dichtemodifizierungsmittels; undc. etwa 0 Vol.-% bis etwa 10 Vol.-% eines oder mehrerer Additive.
Claims (18)
- Eine Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung umfassend: a. bis zu etwa 80 Vol.-% einer Polymerdispersion; b. etwa 20 Vol.-% bis etwa 65 Vol.-% eines Dichtemodifizierungsmittels; und c. etwa 0 Vol.-% bis etwa 10 Vol.-% eines oder mehrerer Additive.
- Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 1 , wobei das Dichtemodifizierungsmittel Mikrosphären enthält, umfassend eine Außenschale, die ein Gas einschließt. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 2 , wobei die Außenschale ein thermoplastisches Polymer ist, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Acrylonitril, Acrylonitril-Copolymere mit anderen Acrylverbindungen, Methylmethacrylat, Vinylidenchlorid und Kombinationen davon. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 2 , wobei die Außenschale mit Calciumcarbonat beschichtet ist. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 2 , wobei das Gas aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, bestehend aus Isopentan, Isobuten, und anderen Gasen mit einem Siedepunkt unter einem Erweichungspunkt der Außenschale. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 2 , wobei die Mikrosphären eine Partikelgröße von etwa 15 µm bis etwa 200 µm besitzen. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 2 , wobei die Mikrosphären eine Dichte von etwa 6,5 kg/m3 bis etwa 100 kg/m3 besitzen. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 1 , wobei ein ausgehärteter Zustand der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung ein erstes ausgehärtetes Volumen besitzt und in der Lage ist, von dem ersten ausgehärteten Volumen zu einem zweiten ausgehärteten Volumen, ohne überzustehen, komprimiert zu werden, wenn ein Druck auf den ausgehärteten Zustand der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung ausgeübt wird. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 8 , wobei das zweite ausgehärtete Volumen von etwa 50% bis etwa 95% des ersten ausgehärteten Volumens reicht. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 8 , wobei der ausgehärtete Zustand der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung konfiguriert wird, um das erste ausgehärtete Volumen wieder einzunehmen, wenn der Druck entfernt wird. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 1 , wobei ein flüssiger Zustand der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung ein erstes flüssiges Volumen besitzt und in der Lage ist, von dem ersten flüssigen Volumen zu einem zweiten flüssigen Volumen komprimiert zu werden. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 11 , wobei das zweite flüssige Volumen von etwa 15% bis etwa 45% des ersten flüssigen Volumens reicht. - Die Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung nach
Anspruch 1 , wobei ein oder mehrere Additive aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, bestehend aus Glimmer, Aluminiumtrihydrat (ATH), Magnesiumhydroxid, expandierbarem Graphit, Ammoniumpolyphosphat, Ammoniumphosphat, Harnstoff, Natriumsilikat und Kombinationen davon. - Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung, wobei das Verfahren umfasst: Mischen einer Flüssigkeit und Additive, wobei die Additive etwa 0 Vol.-% bis etwa 10 Vol.-% der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung umfassen; Dosieren einer Polymerdispersion in die Mischung aus Flüssigkeit und Additiven, wobei die Polymerdispersion bis zu 80 Vol.-% der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung umfasst; und Dosieren eines Dichtemodifizierungsmittels, wobei das Dichtemodifizierungsmittel etwa 20 Vol.-% bis etwa 65 Vol.-% der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung umfasst.
- Das Verfahren nach
Anspruch 14 , außerdem umfassend: Zugabe trockener Materialien; Benetzen der trockenen Materialien während des Mischens der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung; Zugabe eines Verdickungsmittels und pH-Modifikators zu der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung; und Entgasen der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung. - Das Verfahren nach
Anspruch 14 , außerdem umfassend Filtration der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung in einer Sprühanwendung, wobei die Filtration der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung eines von: (a) Ziehen der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung durch ein Sieb mit einer Vakuumpumpe und (b) kontinuierlicher Durchlauf der Dichtmittel-Zusammensetzung durch ein Sieb umfasst. - Das Verfahren nach
Anspruch 14 , wobei das Dichtemodifizierungsmittel Mikrosphären enthält, umfassend eine Außenschale, die ein Gas einschließt. - Das Verfahren nach
Anspruch 14 , wobei ein oder mehrere Additive aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, bestehend aus Glimmer, Aluminiumtrihydrat (ATH), Magnesiumhydroxid, expandierbarem Graphit, Ammoniumpolyphosphat, Ammoniumphosphat, Harnstoff, Natriumsilikat und Kombinationen davon.
