Bei einem bekannten Verfahren dieser Art (DE-GM 19 08 357) wird die Verstärkungsschicht nach der Gewinnung der Marmorschicht vor den Arbeitsgängen des Rohschleifens, des Polierens und des Schneidens auf die J5 gewünschten Abmessungen aufgebracht und soll daher einen sicheren Schutz gegen Beschädigung und Zerbrechen der Marmorschicht während dieser Arbeitsgänge und während des Transportes zur Einbaustelle bieten.
