Die Neuheit bezieht sich auf ein Siebpessar oder Schalenpessar
aus Polyäthylen bezw. Lupolen.
Siebp, essare bezw. Schalenpessare sind-an sich bekannt und
wurden
bisher aus Porzellan, Hartgummi, Gummi, bezw. Zelluloid herge-
stellt.
Es hat sich nun überraschend gezeigt, dass die neuen Pessare
durch ihre Elastizität und Nachgiebigkeit, durch ihre Alkali-
und-Sa. urefestigkeit sich den anatomischen Verhältnissen in
einem
ganz hohen Grade anzupassen vermögen.
Dadurch, dass die Pessare nachgiebig sind und in Richtung der
in Fig. 2 dargestellten Pfeile zusammengedrückt werden können,
sind sie besser einzuführen
