Die Neuerung betrifft ein BQrste, insbesondere Handbesen,
mit verstellbarem Stiel.
Barsten mit verstellbare Stielen sind ansich bekannt.
Sie unterscheiden sieh im wesentlichen in swei Gruppen ;
deren eine durch Vers-tellungdes Stieles Sber ein Gelenk,
welches am : Bürstenrtioken angebracht 1st und deren andere
durch Einsicken eder Einschrauben des Stieles an den Kopf-
enden in den Bstenjtcken direkt gekennzeichnet ist.
Femer is-t e auch bekannte das Borstenteil eines Handbesens
nach Belieben mit dem einen oder anderen Ende voran in einel

beispielsweise schwalbenschwanzf&rmigen Längseinsehnitt
im
Bürstenraken an dem der Stiel befestigt ist, einzuschie-
ben. Bei verhältnismäßiglä-einen Bürsten, zB. Handbesen
ist die erstgenannte Art herstellangsmäBig su teuer sedaß
man hier vorwiegend die zweitgenannte Art verwendet.
Zwar vermeiden nun diese mit einem verstellbaren Stiel aus-
gero-steten Bürsten, die Nachteile der Barsten mit feststehen-
dem Stiel, die darin bestehen daß die Borsten nur eins
abgeB tzt werden sedaß eine Unbrauchbarkeit verhältnisa&S4
schnell eintritt* Ziel der Neuerung ist es aber, neben der
besseren Ausnatzung der Bersten durch die Terstellbarkeit
des Stieles auch eine Erleiehierung in der Handhabung in
den ällenaerreiehenindenen dieBarsteameinegt$
