Beschreibung
Der Besteckhalter dient zur Aufnahme von Besteckteilen
(Messer, Gabeln, Loffel u. s. f.) zwecks geordneter Aufbe-
wahrung in Schubladen u. Etuis. Die bekannte Ausführung besteht aus einem, mit Kunstseideflocken,
überzogenem Gestell aus Holz,mit einer durch die Mitte laufenden Längsrinne. Die
seitlichen Erhebungen parallel zur Längsrinne sind mit schrägliegenden Quernuten,zur
Aufnahme der Besteckteile versehen. Durch das Anbrigen eines Raffbandes ist die
Entnähme der Besteckteile vereinfacht und
erleichert. Wird das Raffband angehoben, können die Besteck-
teile leicht im gesamten oder in der gewünschten Stückzahl entnommen werden. Diese
Erleichterung wirkt sich besonders bei grossen Besteckzahlen, wie sie bei Gaststätten
oft rasch zur Hand sein müssen, als Zeitersparnis aus. Re. : Cutlery holder with tieback.

der Quernuten liegenden Ende (d) das Gestells (a) als Neuerung das Raffband (b)
befestigt. Von der Befestigungsstelle aus wird das Raffband (b) entgegen der Schrägrichtung
der Quernuten durch die Längsrinne des Gestells geführt. Durch das Anheben des Raffbandes
(b) werden die Besteckteile (e) mit einem Handgriff aus den Quernuten gehoben und
