Die Erfindung betrifft allgemein die Herstellung von maschinell gewickelten Zigarren mit Halmmundstück, worunter hier das aus dem eigentlichen Mundstückröhrchen und dem in dieses eingefädelten, weit in die Zigarre reichenden Halm bestehende Mundstück verstanden sei. Es handelt sich demnach bei diesen Zigarren um Virginiazigarren, bei denen vor dem Anbrennen der Halm aus der Zigarre herausgezogen wird, wo er einen den Abbrand verbessernden Kanal hinterläßt.
