Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein neues Verfahren, um Kerzen aus Stearin, Wachs, Paraffin oder beliebigem anderen Material durch geeignete Imprägnierung der freien äußeren Dochtenden leichter entzündbar zu machen. Dasselbe unterscheidet sich von den bisher in "dieser Hinsicht gemachten Vorschlägen, insbesondere der Imprägnierung solcher Dochte mit sauerstoffreichen Substanzen, wie Salpeter, Kaliunichlorat, oder mit leicht entzündlichen Massen, wie Schwefel und dergl., vorteilhaft dadurch, daß die danach behandelten Dochte weniger der Selbstentzündung durch Stoß oder Druck ausgesetzt und außerdem absolut giftfrei und unschädlich sind, ohne beim Verbrennen irgend welchen unangenehmen Geruch zu geben.The subject of the present invention is a new method for making candles Stearin, wax, paraffin or any other material by suitable impregnation the free outer wick ends to make it more flammable.
