Bei den bisher zur Verwendung kommenden Brikettierungsverfahren für feinkörniges Eisenerz wird diesem Erz meist Kohle- oder Koksklein und auch andere Stoffe, wie Kalk S usw., zugegeben und alsdann dieses Gemisch nach Zusatz eines geeigneten Bindemittels, wie z. B. Holzkohlenstübbe, gemischt werden, und daß dann das Gemisch in Trockenvorrichtungen geeigneter Art getrocknet wird. Das getrocknete Gemenge wird hierauf in einer Mischmaschine mit heißem Hartteer (Hartpech) so durchgearbeitet, daß jedes Erz- und Koks- oder Kohlenteilchen mit einer dünnen Haut dieses Bindemittels überzogen wird.
