Durch die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Plättmaschine wird die Wäsche, ohne dafs es erforderlich ist, dieselbe zu wenden oder zwei verschiedenen Maschinen zuzuführen, auf beiden Seiten geglättet. Es ist nämlich über dem in üblicher Weise geheizten Cylinder c, und zwar zwischen den mit Fries oder einem anderen weichen Stoff überzogenen Druckwalzen w ein Cylinder a angebracht, welcher ebenfalls geheizt wird. Dieser wird in schnelle Umdrehung versetzt, so dafs er auf der durch die Walzen w langsam bewegten und gehaltenen Wäsche mit seinem Umfange gleitet. Dadurch wird das Glätten auf der zweiten Wäscheseite herbeigeführt. Statt des einen Glättcylinders α könnten natürlich auch mehrere solcher angeordnet werden.By means of the flattening machine shown in the drawing, the laundry is flattened on both sides without it being necessary to turn it over or to feed it to two different machines. Plättmaschine zum beiderseitigen Glätten von Wäsche mit in üblicher Weise geheiztem Glättcylinder (c) und auf demselben liegenden, mit Fries oder dergl. überzogenen Druckwalzen (n>), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dafs zwischen letzteren ein oder mehrere geheizte, in Drehung versetzte Cylinder (a) vorgesehen sind, welche mit ihrer Oberfläche auf der durch die Walzen (jv) gehaltenen Wäsche, dieselbe gleichzeitig gegen den Hauptcylinder (c) drückend, hinstreichen und sie so gleichzeitig auch auf der zweiten Seite glätten.Patent claim:
