Sowohl in dem Auflagebrett als auch in dem Waschbrett sind Oeffnungen vorgesehen, so dafs ein Blasebalg gebildet ist, welcher bei Ausübung eines Druckes auf das mittelst Federn vom Auflagebrett abgehaltene Waschbrett Luft aus den Oeffnungen des Waschbrettes zur Wäsche treten la'fst.
