Die Weiterentwicklung gemäß der Erfindung be- steht im wesentlichen darin, daß das Gerät zur Verwendung als Antriebs- und Steuereinrichtung für Boote nach Art eines Außenbordmotors mit mindestens einer Vorrichtung zur Befestigung an einem Boot versehen ist und daß der Haltegriff um eine waagerecht und quer zum Boot liegende und in Höhe des Bootsrandes angeordnete Achse zur Verwendung als Ruderpinne in vertikaler Richtung um etwa 180' schwenkbar angeordnet ist. Nach dem Vorschlag der Erfindung ist folglich das Schwimmsportgerät so ausgestaltet, daß dieses zwar einem Schwimmer in der bisher gewohnten Weise als Schleppaggregat zur Verfügung steht, andererseits aber auch zum Bootsantrieb herangezogen werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck sind die genannten Schwimmsportgeräte an ihrer Bug- und/oder Heckseite mit einer Kupplungsvorrichtung zur Verbindung mit dem anzutreibenden Boot versehen, und der Haltegriff ist, wie ein weiteres Merkmal der Erfindung besagt, in vertikaler Richtung schwenkbar befestigt, Auf Grund der schwenkbaren Befestigung des Haltegriffes kann dieser bei der Anwendung des Gerätes als Bootsmotor zum Boot hin angehoben oder umgeklappt und somit als Ruderpinne verwendet werden. Zu diesem Zweck ist am Heck 3 des Schwimmsportgerätes 1 eine beliebig gestaltete Schleppkupplung vorgesehen. Bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel dient ein Zugseil 7 als Schleppkupplung, das an der an der Außenwand des Schlauchbootes vorgesehenen Halteleine 8 befestigt ist. Das Schwimmsportgerät 1 besteht im wesentlichen aus dem kammartigen aus der Wasseroberfläche herausragenden Aufbau 2 und dem flossenartig gestalteten Schwimmkörper 4, in dessen Rumpfteil die beispielsweise von einer Schiffsschraube gebildete Vortriebseinrichtung angeordnet ist. Während bei den bisher bekannten Schwimmsportgeräten die am Heck befindliche Haltestange bzw. der Haltegriff 5 starr mit dem Gerät verbunden ist, ist dieser Haltegriff 5 nunmehr in vertikaler Richtung schwenkbar am Gerät befestigt. Bei der Benutzung des Schwimmsportgerätes 1 in der bisher -üblichen Weise, nämlich als Motorschleppaggregat für Schwimmende, nimmt der Haltegriff 5 die in F i g. 3 gestrichelt eingezeichnete Stellung ein. In dieser Betriebsstellung liegt der Haltegriff 5 auf dem Schwimmkörper 4 bzw. dem Anschlag 19 auf und wird gegebenenfalls durch eine beliebig gestaltete Arretierungsvorrichtung in dieser Betriebsstellung gehalten. Sobald das Schwimmsportgerät 1 als Bootsantrieb Verwendung findet, wird der Haltegriff 5 in Richtung des Pfeiles 23 um den Schwenkpunkt 25 hochgeklappt und beispielsweise in die in F i g. 3 dargestellte Stellung gebracht. Auf Grund der schwenkbaren Befestigung des Haltegriffes 5 kann ein und derselbe Haltegriff bei der Benutzung des Gerätes als Bootsmotor als Steuerpinne verwendet werden. Ist, wie aus den dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen ersichtlich, am Haltegriff 5 gleichzeitig die Steuereinrichtung für den Antriebsmotor vorgesehen, etwa der Gasdrehgriff 6 für den Fall, daß es sich bei dem Antriebsmotor um eine Verbrennungskraftmaschine handelt, so genügt für alle Anwendungsfälle diese eine Steuereinrichtung (vgl. Der Tragbügel 12 selbst ist mittels einer Klemmeinrichtung 14 od. dgl. an der heckseitigen Bordwand des Schiffes 15 befestigt. Der als Ruderpinne dienende Haltegriff 5 ist bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel über die in F i g. 1 wiedergegebene Stellung in Richtung des Pfeiles 23 hinaus verschwenkt und über die Bugseite des Schwimmsportgerätes 1 vorgeklappt.
