Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein einfaches Scharnier für Kistendeckel sowie eine besondere Vorrichtung zum sicheren Befestigen dieser Scharniere an den Kisten.The present invention forms a simple hinge for box lids as well as one special device for securely attaching these hinges to the boxes.

Wie ersichtlich, ist α eine Krampe, deren Zinken abgeflacht sind und konisch verlaufen. Die Enden der Zinken sind meifselartig geschärft, und zwar derartig, dafs die Längsseiten dieser Enden in einer Richtung mit der Fläche der Krampe verlaufen (Fig. 1 und 2). b ist die zur Krampe α gehörige Gegenkrampe; bei dieser sind ebenfalls die Zinken abgeflacht und verlaufen konisch in meifselartig abgeflachten Enden. Krampe b unterscheidet sich jedoch von Krampe α dadurch, dafs die meifselartigen Flächen quer zur Krampenebene verlaufen. Die beiden Krampen werden (Fig. 5) in einander gehakt, so dafs sie ein Scharnier bilden. Hierauf wird die Krampe α in den Deckel c und die andere b in die Seitenwand d des Kastens eingetrieben in einem solchen Winkel, dafs die Bewegung des Deckels möglich ist. Zur Befestigung der Krampen α und b werden Vernietungsstücke e verwendet, welche mit einer Anzahl quer verlaufender Nuthen / auf ihrer Oberfläche versehen sind. Diese Vernietungsstücke werden beim Eintreiben der Krampen unter die betreffenden Kistentheile gehalten, so dafs die Enden der Krampen beim Durchtreten durch das Holz mit ihren meifselartig abgeschärften Enden auf die Vernietungsstücke treffen.As can be seen, α is a staple whose prongs are flattened and tapered.
