Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein Funkenfänger, welcher aus Winkel- und Flacheisen zusammengesetzt ist und vorwiegend bei Lokomotiven Verwendung finden soll. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dafs die den Funkenfänger bildenden Winkel- und Flacheisen, unterhalb der Blasrohrmündung beginnend, nach oben aus einander gehen, wo sie sich an einen Sammelbehälter für die Funken anschliefsen, so dafs die hochfliegenden Funken von dem Fanggitter an seiner Unterfläche nach jenem Sammelraum geführt werden.The subject of the present invention forms a spark arrester, which is made of angle and flat iron and is to be used primarily in locomotives.
