Dieser Apparat dient zum schnellen und centrischen Spannen der Lettern für die Vergoldung von Schriften auf Buchbinderarbeiten.This device is used for quick and centric tensioning of the letters for the gold plating from writings to bookbinding work.
Seine Einrichtung besteht in folgendem: In dem Gehäuse befinden sich zwei Backen a, welche durch eine Scheibe c mit rechtem und linkem Gewinde in entgegengesetzte, geradlinige Bewegung versetzt werden. Auf der Schraube c wird der Rothgufsring e befestigt, behufs Aufnahme des Axendruckes. Dieser Ring e schleift gegen den eingeschraubten Ring d und stellt dadurch die Schraube nach der einen Richtung hin fest. Durch den Griff b wird die Schraube c in Drehung versetzt und auch nach der anderen Richtung hin festgestellt. Auf die Angel/ wird ein Holzheft zur Handhabung des Apparates befestigt. Alle Theile aufser der stählernen Schraube sind von Messing oder Rothgufs gefertigt, Der Apparat kann in verschiedenen Gröfsen hergestellt werden.Its device consists of the following: In the housing there are two jaws a, which are set in opposite, straight movement by a washer c with right and left threads.
