Description
Die erhebliche Mengenverwertung dieser bisher größtenteils als Abfall auf die Halden geworfenen Kunstgipse läßt aber den Nachweis der erstmaligen tatsächlichen wirtschaftlichen Verwendung solcher Kunstgipse zu.Process for the production of setting regulators from synthetic Gypsum or synthetic anhydrite The new purpose underlying this invention, to bring the synthetic gypsum for economic use, is included in it seen that you can him with a liquid binder additive such. B. sulphite waste liquor, Formed and pressed into gypsum egg-shaped briquettes using a briquetting machine. These Briquetting now allows the further use of synthetic gypsum resp. of artificial plaster as an additive (setting regulator) in cement clinker grinding, both in Portland cement production and in blast furnace cement production In very substantial quantities for the first time. Both synthetic plasters are used for this Ca S 04 »2 H2 O as well as the synthetic anhydrite CaS04 or combinations of these both groups in question. The considerable amount of these up to now has been largely recycled Artificial plaster thrown on the dumps as waste leaves evidence of the first time actual economic use of such artificial plasters.
Other procedures involving the use of plaster of paris are the subject matter and should result in suitable bodies for building purposes have one thing in common: The bodies produced and intended for building purposes must be one more or less are subjected to cumbersome storage, in the course of which the plaster of paris sets or hardened. The fitting can therefore not directly, such as. B. from a briquetting machine, used after its deformation; But this is a fast one in particular Compared to automated production processes, it is a hindrance, time-consuming and therefore costly.
The artificial plaster may not be mixed with binders that strongly influence its usual composition known from the analysis; through this foreign matter could form in the cement. Therefore also z. B. an addition of grain of sand, fibers or its chemical treatment with sulfuric acid, alkali sulfate, Zinc sulfate or other compounds, as in other patents for the manufacture of Structures proposed from.
Portland cements and blast furnace cements are generally made by additive from natural broken plaster of paris (plaster of paris cartilage) or through the addition of natural broken anhydrite or by adding a combination of these two types of natural gypsum in the ratio 1: 1 or 1: 2 or 1: 3 or other mixtures with regard to their Setting times stabilized. The natural plaster of paris supplied is usually called plaster of paris cartilage designated; it is generally broken down to a grain size between 0 and 80 mm, but on average 30 mm in size (edge length). Fine parts in the plaster of paris cartilage Insofar not requested or rejected by the cement works because such fine fractions when adding to the cement clinker, among other things smearings, caking, Incrustations, mixed disturbances, etc. cause. For this reason, z. B. a direct so unprocessed addition of plaster of paris to cement clinker because of its fine grain is out of the question. The plaster of paris must first solidify (Briquetting). The method of consolidation in question here takes place by adding sulphite waste liquor to the plaster of paris and subsequent shaping of the mixture in a rotary type briquette press.
The briquetting of the plaster of paris (with the exception of the production anhydrous calcium sulfate obtained from hydrofluoric acid) without dry or liquid The binder initially fails due to the high water content of the plaster of paris on the one hand and its fine-grain structure on the other hand. The fine-grain structure causes that its fine and very fine particles do not join together due to the accumulation of the water can, caverns are created which, no matter how great an external pressure, are no particular Allow the artificial plaster to solidify. The great fineness of the grain prevents that the fine grain can accumulate; for this reason, z. B. Sulphite liquor as a binder can be added. The composition of the under high pressure according to The gypsum egg-shaped briquettes obtained from approx S O4. - 2H2 O and Ca S 04 can fluctuate within wide limits.
