Description
Electro-therapeutic device for analgesic manipulation of the Nerves and treatment of diseases by means of an electric field The invention refers to an electro-therapeutic device for analgesic manipulation of the nerves and the treatment of neuralgia, rheumatic diseases and degenerative diseases or inflammatory joint disease with two to be attached to the patient's body, Electrodes connected to a voltage source, one of which insulates and the other is not isolated.
Devices are known in which, with the aid of a non-isolated, in electrical contact with the patient's body and an electrode electrically isolated second electrode, which is to be applied to the patient's body The incoming glass envelope acts as a dielectric, a pulse-shaped electrical field is produced. Such devices work with high-frequency electrical fields and therefore have the disadvantage that a current flows between the electrodes, which can give rise to damage. The invention is based on the object of such Eliminate disadvantages. This object is achieved in a simple manner in that in a treatment device of the type mentioned according to the invention insulated electrode to be attached to the recessed part of the body from a through an insulating layer is completely covered sheet metal foil and that the applied voltage and frequency can be chosen so that under the isolated Electrode in the part of the body to be treated is at most a low-frequency electrical one Field is generated, but still between the adjacent electrodes no electricity flows. As it depends on the nature of the disease and the sensitivity of the patient it is expedient to act on the body parts to be treated in different ways To be able to, it is advisable to ensure that with the underlying electro-therapeutic In a further embodiment of the invention, the electrodes are connected to a controllable device Generator and possibly connected to a pulse generator via a changeover switch can be.
An embodiment of the invention is based on the drawing illustrated schematically.
Es zeigt Fig. 1 eine Aufsicht auf die mehrteilige Vorrichtung gemäß der Erfindung, deren metallische Schichten einem Körperteil zugeordnet sind, F i g. 2 einen Schnitt durch die gegenüber dem Körperteil elektrisch isolierte metallische Schicht gemäß Fig. 1.1 shows a plan view of the multi-part device according to FIG of the invention, the metallic layers of which are assigned to a body part, F i G. 2 shows a section through the metallic, electrically insulated from the body part Layer according to FIG. 1.
In the case of the exemplary embodiment, it is assumed that an inflammable Joint disease (epicondylitis) should be treated. In the area of the elbow joint is for example with bandage strips 1 by an electrically insulating Layer 2 completely covered metal foil 3, which represents one electrode, set, which is connected via a line 4 to a terminal 5 of a housing 6 Ge is to which a switch 7 is assigned. Appropriately near the support 2, 3 - also on the arm - a metallic layer, such as metal foil 8, which represents the other electrode, fixed with one of its two broad side surfaces rests directly on the skin. The metal foil 8 is od via a line 9. The like. Connected to a terminal 10 of the housing 6. Lines 4, 9 are, respectively depending on the position in which the switch 7 is located, via a manually controllable one Generatorll and lines 12, 13 or a pulse generator 14 and lines 15, 16 connected to a voltage source, for example the alternating current network. In the case of the exemplary embodiment, the applied voltage is across the generator 11 adjustable. If the switch 7 is switched to the dashed position, then the The voltage can be influenced by the pulse generator 14.
