Hierdurch war entweder ein ständiges Auswechseln der Messer oder Schneideinrichtung erforderlich, oder diese Schneideinrichtungen mußten aus einem solchen kostspieligen Werkstoff angefertigt werden, daß hierdurch das Herstellungsverfahren der Profile erheblich verteuert wurde. Auch trat es immer wieder ein, daß einzelne Glasfasern nicht vollständig zerschnitten wurden und so eine Nachbearbeitung erforderlich war oder ein Verletzen und Einreißen der gesamten Profile eintrat.
