PATENTANSPRUCH: Scheibenbremse für das Fahrzeugrad eines Schienenfahrzeuges mit gegen die Lauffläche des Rades anpreßbaren Reibklötzen und mit einer Bremsscheibenreibfläche, die sich aus nahe dem Außenumfang des Fahrzeugrades befindlichen, schmalen Ringflächen und den Seitenflächen des Radreifens zusammensetzt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der die Scheibenbremse betätigende Druckluftbremszylinder (5) in an sich bekannter Weise die Ebene des Fahrzeugrades (31) zumindest annähernd senkrecht schneidend an einem Festpunkt (9) des Fahrzeugrahmens (11) gelagert ist und mit zwei etwa parallel liegenden, mit jeweils einem Ende an ihm angreifenden, am anderen Ende Bremsbacken (19 bzw. 23) tragenden sowie durch eine Zugstange (25) verbundenen Bremshebeln (17 bzw. 21) zusammenwirkt und daß auf der die Bremshebel verbindenden Zugstange ein weiterer, senkrecht zur Achse des Fahrzeugrades befestigter und zusammen mit dem Bremszylinder beaufschlagbarer Druckluft-Zylinder (37) angeordnet ist, dessen Kolbenstange den als Putzklotz (33) ausgebildeten Reibklotz trägt.
