Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Vorrichtung, welche dazu dient, an Streckwerken von Spinn- und dgl. Maschinen die oberen Lederwalzen gegen die unteren eisernen zu pressen, um das zwischen den Walzen hindurchgehende Garn zu strecken. Sie liegt zu diesem Zweck auf den oberen Walzen auf und steht mit einem Gewicht in Verbindung. Gegenüber den zu gleichem Zweck bekannten Vorrichtungen soll sie sich durch einfache Handhabung auszeichnen und stärkere und gleichmäfsigere Fäden geben, da sie auf allen Walzen gleichmäfsig aufliegt und nicht nachgeben kann, infolge dessen auch nicht abgleitet, so dafs die Walzen stehen bleiben.
