P. MOTSCHMANN & HÜFNER in SONNEBERG i. Th. Neuerungen an Zusammensetzspielen.P. MOTSCHMANN & HÜFNER in SONNEBERG i. Th. Innovations in puzzle games.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 16. März 1880 ab.Patented in the German Empire on March 16, 1880.
Educational toys for children known under the name of assembly games are known to consist of cardboard bodies of cube or parallelepiped shape, the are externally covered with fragments of pictures in such a way that only their correct combination ' the images in question appear full, as can be seen in the accompanying drawing is, in Fig. 1 a box with a properly assembled game, and Fig. 2 means a single body thereof.
The innovation now consists in the application of animal voices within the individual bodies, which correspond to the animal figures which are externally visible on them. Can the child ζ. B. from the fragment of the picture, Fig. 2, if it does not recognize a goat and it then pulls on the eyelet a, which is connected with the animal voice attached inside the body, it hears from the sound that follows that it does so A fragment of the image of a goat sees to which the supplement is to be sought. The eyes and ears are evenly sharpened and the child feels double satisfaction with his occupation.
