Die Schutzschicht kann, mit Klemmschrauben eingespannt, so in der Schablon eangebracht werden, daß man damit die zurückspringende Kehle 12 ausgebildet und verstärkt. Bei einer Ausdehnung des Schaumes des Körpers 10 in der Schablone werden die Lücken in der Schutzschicht vom Schaum durchdrungen. Gleichzeitig reagiert das Diisocyanat in dein sich ausdehnenden Schaum mit den Reaktionsgruppen in dem Faserstoff der Schutzschicht. Dabei versteift sowohl die chemische Reaktion wie auch das Imprägnieren die Schutzschicht, die so zu einer wirkungsvolleren Isolierschicht gemacht wird. An der durch die Schutzschicht verstärkten Seite, die auf den Federelementen der Federkonstiuktionen ruht, wird der Schaumstoff des Hauptkörpers 10 bei Beanspruchung der Federelemente gegen Einreißen und Abrieb geschützt.
