Abstract
The pump has a transport wheel (5,6) that rotates when being driven, radial transport elements (5) on the transport wheel and a drive shaft (3). The effective transport volume (7) bounded by the transport wheel and the transport elements can be suitably varied depending on engine parameters such as temperature and revolution rate to change the delivery rate.
